Job Description

Are you a highly organized Bookkeeper and detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers? We’re looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial records and ensure our accounts are accurate and up-to-date. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and trustworthy individual who can handle all bookkeeping tasks with precision.

This remote position is perfect for someone who is methodical, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives on maintaining financial clarity and order.

 

Responsibilities of a Bookkeeper:

  • Financial Record Management: Accurately record all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of all accounts.
  • Reporting: Prepare and generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
  • Invoice & Expense Management: Process vendor invoices, manage employee expense reports, and ensure all payments are made on time.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all financial documents, both physical and digital.
  • Payroll: Assist with payroll processing as needed, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.

 

Requirements

  • Proven Bookkeeping Experience: You must have a strong background in bookkeeping or accounting, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
  • High Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy is essential for this role. You should be meticulous and committed to maintaining error-free financial records.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks is a must. You should also be comfortable with spreadsheets and other office productivity tools.
  • Trustworthy & Confidential: The ability to handle sensitive financial information with the utmost discretion and integrity is non-negotiable.
  • Strong Communication: Clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams and external contacts.
