Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Media Planner & Buyer who can develop, execute, and optimize media strategies across both digital and traditional channels. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with U.S. markets, managing multi-platform campaigns, and translating data insights into actionable marketing decisions.

You will be responsible for planning, negotiating, executing, and optimizing campaigns while working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure strong performance and ROI.

 

Key Responsibilities of Media Planner & Buyer

Strategic Planning & Research:

Translate client business goals into comprehensive media plans.
Conduct deep research on target demographics, consumer behavior, and market trends relevant to the client’s products or services.
End-to-End Campaign Execution

Develop media strategies and provide expert marketing consultations.
Lead negotiations with media outlets, publishers, and influencers to secure optimal placements and rates.
Platform Management

Set up and manage campaigns across social platforms, DSPs, and programmatic environments.
Maintain daily communication with media representatives and publishers to ensure smooth execution.
Performance Monitoring

Monitor campaign performance closely to ensure schedules are followed and budgets are pacing accurately.
Identify optimization opportunities and implement performance improvements.
Client Communication & Campaign Agility

Serve as the primary contact for media-related requests.
Handle mid-campaign adjustments such as strategy pivots, budget changes, and marketplace updates.

Reporting & Deliverables

Weekly Reports

Deliver comprehensive campaign performance reports every Friday.
Quarterly Campaign Reports

Provide in-depth analysis of campaign results, ROI, and recommendations every three months.
Meetings

Lead weekly internal or client status meetings.
Present formal quarterly campaign reviews and insights.

Qualifications

Experience:

3–5+ years of proven experience in media planning and buying, preferably within an agency environment.
U.S. Market Expertise

Strong familiarity with the U.S. media landscape, including both national and local market trends (Los Angeles knowledge is a plus).

Technical Skills

Digital Advertising

Strong hands-on experience with:
Meta Ads
TikTok Ads
LinkedIn Ads
Programmatic platforms and DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, or StackAdapt

Traditional Media:

Experience planning or integrating offline media channels such as:
Out-of-Home (OOH)
Print
Radio

Measurement & Analytics:

Advanced knowledge of GA4 and third-party tracking tools
Strong ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.

Soft Skills:

Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Comfortable presenting campaign strategies and results to stakeholders.
