Discover your path to success with rewarding opportunities at VAME

Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned Scrum Master / Agile Lead to champion our agile transformation and drive operational excellence across our development teams. You will be responsible for inspiring, organizing, and supporting our engineers while ensuring our overall business strategy is met through objective metrics. Your role is to be a change agent—identifying growth points, resolving conflicts with a “win-win” mindset, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Agile Governance: Organize and implement PI planning, iterations, demos, and retrospectives, ensuring all agile procedures are executed effectively.

Team Coordination: Coordinate the work of 3 development teams, ensuring their autonomy and efficiency while maintaining a general development plan in Jira.

Planning & Execution: Build realistic planning processes with the team to ensure consistent deliveries and monitor deadlines/task completion.

Performance Analysis: Form and utilize a set of necessary metrics to analyze team results and identify root limitations.

Mentorship & Assessment: Conduct performance assessments for engineers and product team leads, acting as a mentor and facilitator for professional growth.

Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve controversial issues in internal and external interactions, training teams to handle emerging conflicts effectively.

Process Improvement: Act as a facilitator and change agent, proposing effective methods and approaches to achieve business results based on the company’s specific context.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead, or similar role within development/testing teams.

Technical Mastery: Practical expertise in combining Scrum and Kanban and a deep understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).

Tool Proficiency: Advanced ability to use Jira and Confluence for organizing teamwork and tracking iterations.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to facilitate meetings, interact with various management levels, and remove bottlenecks in implementation.

Systems Thinking: A professional who can see the “full picture” and identify root causes rather than just symptoms.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.

Education & Certifications: A degree in Computer Science is preferred. Certifications in Agile Leadership, Scrum Mastering (CSM/PSM), or Agile Coaching are a significant advantage.

Industry Context: Previous experience in the e-commerce sector is highly preferred.
